South Gulf Cove Prices are up 22% over last year but is still  the Best Value for Gulf of Mexico Access Building Lots  in Florida. The past year, Thru August 28, 2014, over 125 waterfront lots have sold at prices from $26K to $157k with a median of $52,500. 

 

    For an investor in 2014, Florida land is a very attractive alternative to bank CD's, bonds, and the overpriced stock market. Also, land requires very little management time compared to rental property. Florida's population is growing and well located land will increase in value.

    South Gulf Cove is a paradise for boaters and fisherman.There are almost 5,000 lots with Gulf of Mexico access on 55 miles of canals that are always at least 5 foot deep. These lots can't be duplicated at the prices they are selling for today.

     Powerboat lots without seawalls in the southern part of SGC sell for prices in the $30's & $40's while big view sailboat lots with seawalls sell at prices up to $160,000. However,  these  prices are still more than 60% below peak 2005/6 prices.

Buying a Lot in South Gulf Cove? The year 2014 is a great time to buy in this unique community. South Gulf Cove has over 55 miles of canals that all lead to Charlotte Harbor and the Gulf of Mexico.
